    Tips: Steps of removing disc brake pads

    1. Remove the wheel and remove the dust cover.
    2. Disconnect the brake pad sensor plug from the bracket
      Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the front brake pad shrapnel hoop.
    3. Unscrew the brake caliper fixing bolt
      • Unscrew the brake caliper fixing bolt, and remove the brake caliper. Make sure that the brake hose is not strained to avoid injury to the hose.
      • If just need to replace the brake pads, and then only remove one fixing bolt on the brake caliper. Remove the bolts, apply force to the brake caliper with a flat-head screwdriver, so that the piston of the brake cylinder is automatically pressed back, and then take out the brake pads. You can also use the brake caliper piston rewind tool to wind back the brake cylinder piston, take out or insert the brake pads.
    4. After removing the brake caliper housing, fix it on the car body with a metal wire to prevent the brake tube from being forced or damaged by the brake caliper gravity.
    5. Remove the brake pads from the brake caliper housing
      Remove the brake pads. Note that making a mark for the position of the brake pads to aid installation.
