Tips: How to Maintain a Reversible Air Drill?

Reversible air drill is a hand held air tool used for drilling holes in mental products, especially thin shells and light alloy components, such as aluminum and magnesium. It has a high working efficiency and drilling precision. Here are tips for maintaining a pneumatic drill.

    1. The best air pressure should be 0.63MPa.
    2. The air drill shouldn’t be idle for a long time under high pressure, otherwise the air tool will wear out the parts and reduce the service life.
    3. The air hose should be equipped with a water filter to make sure that the compressed air clean.
    4. Before you use the pneumatic drill, you should fill a certain amount of mechanical oil in the inlet to lubricate the engine and other components.
    5. You are not allowed to use the air drill beyond the scope of technical performance.
    6. Before you store the reversible air drill, it is better to fill appropriate amount machine oil to prevent the corrosion of the engine and other parts.

Use environment of reversible air drill
Can this reversible air drill be used underwater?
A manager responded to this review
Hi Paul, thank you for contacting us! You will get different answers here. If you have properly lubricated the tool, it can be used underwater, but the time under water is limited. But I don't recommend using it underwater. If the operation is improper, water will be sucked into the exhaust port, causing water lock, jamming and damaging your tool.
