Tips: What is a ratchet screwdriver?
A ratchet screwdriver is a manual screwdriver with a handle operated by the reciprocating motion and a removable screwdriver bit. The front end of the handle is provided with a ratchet base. On the ratchet base, there are two reverse swivel pawls and a pick for controlling the position and state of the pawls. The tail of the shaft is provided with a ratchet sleeve which is mounted on the ratchet base and meshes with at least one of the two ratchet pawls. A ratchet screwdriver uses a ratchet mechanical device. The role of a ratchet is to make the screwdriver turn in only one direction, so that when screwing, the screw can be tightened by turning in a positive direction, and when changing the direction, the screw does not follow, just handle to reverse rotation, so it is very convenient to operate, and saves energy.
