    Tips: Socket bits introduction

A socket bit is a common hand tool that rivet screwdriver bit on the socket, usually with shape of slotted, Philips, torx, hex, etc. The socket bit is generally made of high-grade alloy steel, which is hardened as a whole, not easy to break and slip. There are 50mm, 100mm and other special length, which are convenient for work. The socket bit made of chrome vanadium steel has strong torque and is easy to use. Socket bits are usually available in three specifications, 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2".

    1. The socket bits combined with different handles will play different roles. A ratchet handle with socket bit can be used for quick fastening and loosening, or the extension bar can be connected for extended use, and a larger torque can be applied to screws that cannot be screwed by ordinary screwdrivers.

    2. When using the socket bit to loosen or tighten the screw, check whether there is any sundries in the hexagonal or torx hole of the bolt head, and clean it up in time to avoid damage to the bolt or injury to yourself due to slippage of the tool.

    3. Choose a socket bit with a suitable shape and size. When using it, give the socket bit enough down force to ensure that the socket bit head has sufficient contact surface with the workpiece hole to prevent the socket bit from sliding out of the screw head and cause breakage of the head of the socket bit or damage the workpiece.

    4. Do not use the socket bit as a hammer rod or use the manual socket bit for power impact tools to avoid accidents.
