    Application

This online electrical water conductivity meter is designed for precision measurement in complex and varied scenarios, providing essential control and monitoring capabilities. Its primary applications include:
    • Water Purity and Treatment: Ensuring quality in pure water measurement systems and monitoring the efficiency of RO reverse osmosis processes by tracking solute rejection.
    • Environmental Monitoring: Conducting reliable surface water monitoring and broader environmental water monitoring to assess pollution levels and overall water health.
    • Industrial Process Control: Managing concentrated solutions in chemical processing and implementing critical boiler blowdown control. By continuously measuring conductivity, ec meter helps remove concentrated dissolved minerals, preventing scale and corrosion that lead to pipeline failures and costly boiler downtime.
    • Agricultural Management: Precisely managing water-fertilizer blending (water-fertilizer ratio) in irrigation systems to optimize nutrient delivery and improve crop yield.

Tips: Can a Digital Conductance Meter be Used for All Types of Solutions?

While digital industrial water conductivity meter are versatile tools, they are not universally suitable for all solution types. Online conduction meter's accuracy can be significantly affected by the specific characteristics of the solution. For instance, in highly concentrated solutions, electrode polarization can occur, leading to inaccurate readings. Furthermore, solutions containing oils, suspended solids, or coatings can foul the electrode sensor. For applications involving very high purity water (ultra-pure water), specialized sensors and measurement techniques are often required due to the extremely low conductivity levels. Therefore, it's crucial to select the appropriate conductivity probe (e.g., K=0.01, 0.1, 1.0, 10.0) and ensure the meter's range covers the expected conductivity values for the specific application to obtain reliable results. Special sample handling, such as cooling for high-temperature/pressure samples above 14.5 BAR/200°C before measurement, might also be necessary.
