Tips: Structure and Classification of Air Blowers
The blower’s main structural components include the impeller, housing, air inlet, bracket, motor, pulley, coupling, muffler, transmission parts (such as bearings), and more.
Blowers are categorized based on the pressure they generate into low, medium, and high-pressure blowers. The pressure ranges are as follows: low pressure, with full pressure of H ≤ 1000 Pa; medium pressure, where 1000 Pa < H ≤ 3000 Pa; and high pressure (centrifugal fan), with H ranging from 3000 Pa to 15000 Pa.
Low-pressure and medium-pressure blowers are primarily used in ventilation systems, whereas high-pressure air blowers are typically divided into centrifugal blowers, axial flow fans, and water treatment blowers. These are widely applied in industries like sewage agitation and aeration in hospitals and labs, vacuum feeding in the printing industry, electroplating tank agitation, industrial wastewater treatment, air supply for plastic welding, burner spraying, glass manufacturing, and other applications.
In terms of technology, air blowers can be categorized according to their bearing type: general mechanical bearing blowers, magnetic suspension blowers, and air suspension bearing blowers.
