Toasters

A toaster is an electric small appliance designed to expose various types of sliced bread to radiant heat, browning the bread so it becomes toast. The toaster usually includes a multifunctional oven, thermal insulated surface, lifting lever, etc., is a common kitchen tool. It is a must-have tool for breakfast cooking, not only for browning bread, but also for making them more flavorful and tasty.

There are two types of toasters, pop-up toaster and conveyor toaster.

Pop-up Toaster
In a pop-up toaster, the bread is placed in the toaster, the lift lever is pressed down and the heating element is activated. The length of the toasting cycle (degree of toast) can be adjusted by levers, knobs. When the internal device determines that the toasting cycle is complete, the toaster turns off and the bread is ejected from the slot.

In addition to the basic toasting function, some pop-up toasters offer additional features, such as.

• Single-sided toasting, which some people prefer when baking bagels.
• It can supply power to only one of the heating elements in the several slots of the bread machine.
• There are different depth, length, width of the slot, suitable for all types of bread.
• Allows the bread to be lifted higher than the normal lifting position so that bread that moves during the baking process can be safely and easily removed.

Conveyor Toaster
Conveyor toasters are designed to produce multiple slices of toast and are typically used in the catering industry, restaurants, cafeterias, and other commercial food service settings that require consistent or high volume toasting of bread. Bread is toasted at a rate of 300-1600 slices per hour. The doneness control on this type of toaster can be adjusted by adjusting the speed of the conveyor belt, thus varying the time the bread is near the heating element. The conveyorized toaster has been produced for home use.

How to use a toaster?

1. Place the toaster on a flat, clean, stationary counter top.
2. Turn on the power and set the Browning Setting to gears 1-2. 1-6 means the bread baking color is light to thick.
3. After selecting the level of toast, place the bread in the slot and press down the lever.
4. Once the selected level is reached, the bread will pop up automatically.
5. During the baking process, press the Cancel button to stop baking.
6. If the bread is stuck, disconnect the power before removing the bread. (Be sure not to use metal objects to remove the bread while the power is on.)
7. After use, please clean the crumbs in time.

Precautions for using toaster.

1. The slices of bread should be of uniform thickness as possible, generally 15-20mm is appropriate.
2. Turn the knob to 5-6 gear to get darker brown sliced bread, or turn it to 1-2 gear to get a lighter, brown sliced bread.
3. When toasting multiple slices of bread, leave at least 15 seconds between baking cycles before restarting the toaster to allow the bimetal plate of the thermostat to reset.
4. Do not toast anything with oil, cream or water. If you want to add butter or cheese to your bread, do so after baking.
