6 Tips for Using an Air Impact Wrench

1. Pay attention to the position of the speed-control switch before you use the air impact wrench so that you know the direction of rotation when operating the intake valve.
2. Please ensure that the compressed air into the wrench pneumatic motor is the maximum atmospheric pressure of 0.6MPa clean dry air. Otherwise, dangerous conditions such as driveline failure, rupture, output torque errors are inevitable.
3. Ensure that all hoses and other connecting devices are correctly and securely mounted. Don’t use worn or aged air hoses and other connecting devices.
4. Before operating the pneumatic impact wrench, be sure to check whether there is enough lubricating oil in the oil cup. In the absence of lubrication, it will speed up wearing the pneumatic motor blades, resulting in reduced the tool performance.
5. Operate the air tool steadily. During the opening and operation of the tool, be aware of sudden changes in torque and force during the movement.
6. If the hose fails or the connection breaks, a suitable size air safety device can be installed upstream of the hose, and in case the hose is open inside, a firm device can be used through any hose connection to prevent the hose from swinging.
