1. Margin trowel is a flat-nosed trowel used by bricklayers to spread or smooth out materials such as concrete, mortar or plaster during the bricklaying process.

2. This plastering tool features a flat steel blade that is square at the end as well as a soft wood handle that is attached to the blade by a vertical metal arm.

3. The brick trowel is used most often to spread materials, but it can also be used to pack materials in between bricks, in some cases to break bricks into smaller pieces or to work mortar in tight spaces and corners where a larger pointed trowel will not fit.
