Tips: The working principle of the jack
A jack refers to a light and small lifting device that uses a rigid lifting member as a working device through the top bracket or bottom bracket to push heavy objects in a small stroke. Jacks are divided into mechanical jacks and hydraulic jacks according to the principles. The most basic principle based on hydraulic transmission is Pascal's law, that is, the pressure of the liquid is the same everywhere. In this way, in a balanced system, the pressure exerted on the smaller piston is smaller, and the pressure exerted on the larger piston is also larger, so that the liquid can be kept still. Therefore, through the transfer of liquid, different pressures on different ends can be obtained, and a pressure transformation can be achieved. The hydraulic jack uses this principle to achieve pressure transmission. The common mechanical jack is screw jack. Pull the handle back and forth of screw jack, pulling the pawl to push the ratchet gap to rotate, and the small bevel pinion drives the large bevel pinion to rotate the lifting screw, so that the lifting sleeve can be raised or lowered to achieve object lifting, but not as simple as the hydraulic jack.
