Tips: Structure of open end wrenches
Screws are the main fasteners in mechanical equipment, and open wrench is an important tool for machining, production and maintenance in the mechanical industry.
Both ends of the open end wrench are U-shaped jaws, which can be fitted to two opposite faces of hexagon head of the bolt or nut.
Open end wrenches are mainly suitable for occasions where box end wrenches and ratcheting wrenches cannot be operated, because some bolts or nuts must be inserted laterally, and in this case an open end spanner can be used, but a box end spanner cannot.
There is a certain angle between the jaw opening and the handle, so that the application space can be increased by reversing the open end wrench.
When selecting an open end spanner, the appropriate model should be determined according to the size of bolt head, and ensure that the diameter of the spanner opening is consistent with the diameter of bolt head, with no clearance, and then the operation can be carried out.
