    Installation and Use Precautions

Pressure Gauge of SYB series Manual Pressure Test Pump, 2.5~6.3MPa Pressure Gauge Reading
    • The normal water pressure of tap water is 0.3MPa (0.1MPa is 1kg pressure), and the water pressure of high floors is 0.4MPa.
    • Water pipe pressure testing is generally between 0.8~1.0MPa. Pressure testing time for household pipelines is maintained at 2 to 4 hours. (The specific situation is subject to the actual construction environment)
    • Pressure testing for home should be between 0.8~1.0MPa. Excessive pressure will shorten the service life of pipeline and even cause fatal damage to pipeline. For industrial pressure testing, adjust pressure according to demand.
Pressure Relief Valve of SYB series Manual Pressure Test Pump, 2.5~6.3MPa Pressure Relief Valve
    • The manual pressure test pump has a pressure relief valve. During installation, pressure relief hole must be aligned with the water discharge hole on water tank, to avoid water splashing on the ground or body when pressure relieving.
Pump head oil hole of SYB series Manual Pressure Test Pump, 2.5~6.3MPa Pump Head Oil Hole
    • Pour oil into the hole to lubricate piston and improve the durability of seals.

Manual Pressure Test Pump Operation Steps

Manual Pressure Test Pump Operation Step 1 Manual Pressure Test Pump Operation Step 2 Manual Pressure Test Pump Operation Step 3
    1. Assemble the pressure test pump, check whether the main body and accessories are complete. 2. Connect one end of oil tube to pump body. (Pay attention to seal connection and add gaskets, otherwise water will leak) 3. Connect the other end of oil tube to the pipeline to be tested. (Be sure to wrap it with PTFE TAPE)
Manual Pressure Test Pump Operation Step 4 Manual Pressure Test Pump Operation Step 5 Manual Pressure Test Pump Operation Step 6
    4. Fill the tested pipe with water, exhaust air, then close the pressure relief valve. 5. Fill the water tank with water, then press the handle rod up and down to start pressure test and pressurization. 6. When the pressure gauge reading rises to the required value, pressurization can be stopped at this time.

Note: After pressurization is stopped, if the value shown on the pressure gauge does not decrease, it indicates that the pipeline has good pressure resistance. On the contrary, it means that sealing performance of the tested pipeline is not good, there is leakage, so the pressure drops.

Tips: Manual pressure test pump troubleshooting.

    • When the handle moves up, water cannot be sucked up.
    1. Check whether the suction pipe is blocked by garbage.
    2. Check whether the switch is tightened.
    • The handle is weak when moving up and down.
    1. Check whether the switch is tightened.
    2. Check whether the sealing ring of piston shaft is damaged.
    3. Check for impurities in the single-way valve in the outlet connector.
    • Pressure gauge shows unstable pressure value.
    1. There is a leak in pipeline or water outlet joint. Replace sealing rings.
    2. Leakage at the connection of meter rod. Replace sealing rings.
    3. Pressure gauge is damaged. Repair pressure gauge.

2.5~6.3MP manual test pump has great value
As soon as I saw the picture of this 2.5~6.3MP manual test pump from Tool.com, I decided to buy it. Its weight is not very heavy, it is also very convenient to carry, and it can be used for pressure vessel testing, pipeline pressure testing, etc. It has great value.
