Tips: Basics of combination wrench
The combination wrench is a common type of wrenches or spanners. Since it has one end of the same as the single-head open end spanner and the other end of the same as the box spanner, it has two different functions.
Combination wrenches are different from open wrenches in that they can be fastened and removed with screws on both sides, except that one side is open end and the other side is box end. Wrenches like this are designed to combine the advantages of both types of wrenches and have tremendous advantages in some parts handling.
There are two sizes of combination wrenches: metric and Imperial. The common Metric combination wrenches cover 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, etc and the Standard combination wrenches have 1/4", 5/16", 11/32", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16", 7/8", 15/16", 1" and so on.
In terms of function, combination wrenches are more commonly used than other wrenches and are required in many processing industries. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, power generation, oil refining, shipbuilding, petrochemical and other industries.
