Tips: How to test common rail diesel injector flow?

1. Remove the buckle of the return hose from the injector.
2. Remove the return hose from the diesel injector.
3. Choose the right adapters. The pre-assembled hose adapter is suitable for BOSCH injectors.
4. Install the measuring cups and hang the hook on the engine cover to prevent the measuring cup kit from falling. At the same time install the buckle of the original return hose.
5. Each diesel injector is connected to a measuring cup or measuring tube. Use 4 measuring cups/tubes for 4 engine cylinders and 6 cups/tubes for 6 engine cylinders.
6. Start the engine and rotate at idle speed. The return oil begins to enter the measuring cup. Be careful not to exceed the volume of the measuring cup.
7. Turn off the engine and check the oil return amount of each measuring cup. The oil return amount of different cylinders indicates the current flow status of their injectors. If one or two of the oil return amount in the measuring cup are obviously more than the other cups, it means that the diesel injectors with a large amount of oil return amount are faulty.
